We have three program options for Kindergarten:
1. Half Day (AM class only) 475 hours of instruction. Classes will run from 8:20 a.m. - 11:35 a.m.
2. Progressive Program (P.I.P.) This program begins with half day everyday classes, and in April, progresses to full day everyday until the end of June. The yearly fee for the progressive program is $975. This fee is payable to Greater St. Albert Catholic Schools and can be paid by postdated cheques or by credit card in full or in monthly instalments. (617.5 hours of instruction)
3. Full Day Nature Kinder Extention - The Nature Kindergarten Extension is an extension program that fosters the God-given gifts and talents of the child in the natural environment. The kindergarten nature program nurtures the child's spiritual/social/emotional well-being while building physical literacy through interest play-based learning, giving space for curiosity, connection, and reflection of the world around them as they construct meaning, engaging in rich learning experiences.
Activities and explorations are planned to help instill the love of nature and foster respect for all of God’s creation while learning about different cultures and Indigenous traditions.
The program is offered if there is a sufficient number of pre-registrations. The yearly fee for this program is $3,250 as the provincial government funds only pays for half time kindergarten program. Many families find that the cost is comparable to daycare. This fee is payable to Greater St. Albert Catholic Schools and can be paid by postdated cheques or by credit card in full or in monthly instalments. (950 hours of instruction)
