Welcome back to Nature Kindergarten! Tomatoes, cucumbers, sunflowers and nasturtiums, oh my! Our gardens have been an amazing place to learn about plants, seeds, pollinators and growing our own food. We have been tending our gardens all season long and have been blessed with such an abundance of food! We have seen bees, butterflies and ladybugs and have studied life cycles and more with our sunflowers. We've even turned our harvested tomatoes into spaghetti sauce and had a delicious meal. Our students are learning about responsibility and also caring for others, as we gifted some of our produce and donated a huge amount to the food bank. We are already excited for next season's garden!
