Feast of St. Thérèse de Lisieux
Today is the feast day of our patron saint: St. Thérèse de Lisieux. École Sacré Coeur chose the "little flower" as St. Thérèse was often called, as our school patron saint because she had great insights into the simplicity of life and how small things pleased God. This is a reminder to all of us who feel we can do nothing, that it is the little things that keep God's kingdom growing.
To celebrate her feast day, students in Grade 1-4 were treated to a Rooney & Punyi presenation on the life of St. Thérèse de Lisieux.
